For May Half Term 2026, I travelled to XO Cape Arnna in Fethiye, Turkey, with my family to experience this five-star all-inclusive resort. Here’s an insight into our experience, from the accommodation and dining options to the entertainment and facilities on offer.

XO Cape Arnna helps you switch off from the moment you arrive. We were welcomed with chocolate dipped strawberries and a refreshing glass of bubbles before completing a smooth and easy check-in process from the comfort of the lounge area.

Only in its second year of operation, the resort has been thoughtfully designed and is well suited to the expectations of today’s leisure travellers. We stayed in a Family Comfort Room, choosing it for the two-bathroom layout a non-negotiable when travelling with a teenage daughter. Located on the top floor, the room offered fantastic sea views and a practical layout, with the twin bedroom area separated from the main bedroom by the two bathrooms.

An all-inclusive minibar stocked with drinks and snacks was replenished daily, although with so much food and drink available throughout the resort, we rarely needed it.

This is a resort that deserves a place on the shortlist for family holidays, couples’ escapes and multi-generational trips, as there is genuinely something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for excellent sports facilities and activities, outstanding wellness provisions or simply plenty of space to relax and soak up the sunshine, you’ll find it here.

One of our favourite routines was spending the day on the beach before enjoying sundowners at the Beach Bar, with beach club-style DJ tunes creating the perfect backdrop. We’d then head back to get ready for dinner before watching the sunset and enjoying the evening entertainment.

There are also plenty of swim-up room options, as well as dedicated adults-only spaces and restaurant choices. The evening entertainment was some of the best we’ve experienced at an all-inclusive resort in a long time. The main shows were excellent, but there were also more relaxed options available at the Beach Bar, where DJs and live bands performed throughout the week.

We were genuinely sorry to leave after just a week. With so many excellent hotels to choose from in this region, it’s not often a property immediately makes it onto the return list, but XO Cape Arnna certainly has.

Standout Highlights

• 24-hour service at The Goat Sports Bar on the main promenade, making it easy to grab an early morning coffee and enjoy a stroll along the beach without waking your partner. A big plus!
• An outstanding selection of snacks and treats available throughout the day along the promenade, including No.1 Coffee Roastery, Clementine Patisserie, Chai Mai Tea House and The Goat.
• The best gym and spa offering we have found in an all-inclusive hotel to date.
• An excellent selection of à la carte dining options in relaxing locations throughout the resort, although booking these through the in-app assistant can feel a little clunky.
• Great activities running throughout the day and entertainment available in various locations each evening.
• Conveniently located close to Fethiye Old Town, just 20 minutes by boat shuttle or taxi (approximately £12 each way).

Downsides

• The Personal Assistant chat function within the app is a new addition for 2026 and still has some teething issues.
• Only two or three à la carte restaurants are included within the all-inclusive package.
• Service, food and drink quality could be a little inconsistent at times.
• The beach itself isn’t the resort’s strongest feature, with large stones at the water’s edge and a fairly steep drop-off, which may not be ideal for smaller children.

Worth Visiting: Mori Restaurant, Fethiye

If you enjoy venturing outside the resort for an evening, Mori Restaurant in Fethiye Marina is well worth a visit. It’s a great waterfront spot for dinner and drinks, with a lively atmosphere and plenty of local nightlife nearby. It’s also very Instagram-friendly for those looking to capture a few holiday photos.
